The new facility is the first mill to be built in Scotland for 20-years and is part of a £17million investment by Carr’s Flour Mills in its Kirkcaldy base.
The new mill has been developed in conjunction with Swiss engineering firm Buhler and is one of the most technologically advanced and efficient sites in Europe, delivering a wide range of processing improvements and cost savings, as well as reducing the company’s environmental footprint.
